Congratulations to Vevlyn Lowe the Belk Foundation Honored Educator Scholar for 2015-16. She teaches at Sampson Middle School in the Clinton City Schools district.
The Belk Foundation, a family foundation based in Charlotte, NC, is focused on supporting quality education by investing in schools and organizations that work aggressively to ensure all students graduate from high school and continue on an intentional path toward college, career and life. Each year, the Belk Honored Educator Scholarship provides for a public school teacher to attend an NCCAT program of his or her choice. The scholarship covers all costs associated with a teacher’s participation in the program.
