Great teams of educators joining us this week for Solution and Planning Teams. Topics they are covering are:
Central Elementary School, ECPPS, K-3 Comprehensive Literacy Plan with a Focus on Integrating Social Studies, Science and Technology: This team will work on aligning literacy standards with social studies and science content while employing digital learning with technological resources. They will develop a Comprehensive Literacy Plan that can be implemented in grades K-3.
Pinnacle Classical Academy, Cleveland County Charter, Creating Interactive SmartBoard Lessons to Enhance Literacy Instruction in Kindergarten - This team will create SmartBoard lessons to support their Core Knowledge Language Arts curriculum. They will create interactivities that will engage students, increase participation and reach all types of learners.
Salem Middle School, Wake County Public School System - Most Likely to Succeed: Project-Based Learning - This team's goal is to plan interdisciplinary units for their 2016-2017 school year. Inspired by the film, "Most Likely to Succeed," they will look at ways to engage their students in project-based learning to develop valuable "soft skills" to help them be successful in the workplace, in addition to learning and applying the curriculum.
