Spring Literacy Symposium coming up

From our friends at NC DPI ....

The NC English Teachers Association invites all English Language Arts Teachers and all Literacy Teachers to join us for the 4th Annual Bob Alexander Spring Literacy Symposium.  We will gather at East Forsyth High School in Kernersville, NC, on April 29th from 8:30-3:30 for a day enhancing our professional knowledge and renewing our teaching spirit.  Dr. Sally Griffin, Teaching Fellow with the UNC-Charlotte Writing Project and National Paideia Faculty Member will host our keynote address and Paideia Seminar.

Congratulations to Brad Rhew on winning the Burroughs Welcome Fund's Career Award for Science and Mathematics Teachers. Great job!. Brad was at NCCAT as part of a Kenan Fellows program.
