OpenClass is a platform for students and teachers that allows 24-hour access to assignments, chat boards, collaborative spaces, and more. In the OpenClass campus, students can see and complete coursework, communicate about assignments, and complete homework and assessments. This OpenClass training is a train-the-trainer intensive designed for district level IIS/OpenClass training teams, Instructional Technology Facilitators, Curriculum Specialists, Lead Classroom Teachers, and other teachers and central office staff who will be training and supporting OpenClass as a district level learning management platform. (OpenClass is available to all districts as a part of the additional opt-in services related to the HomeBase portal).
Registration and training for this program will be conducted by the NCEdCloud/DPI team and hosted by NCCAT. Districts are allowed up to 5 seats. Charter schools are allowed 2 seats. Registration will close when the maximum number of trainees is reached.

Check in for the program at 8:30 am on January 13 at the NCCAT front desk. The program will conclude by 4 pm and lunch will be provided for participants who pre-register before December 20, 2014.
