Renewal Seminars–NCCAT offers a variety of residential seminar experiences relevant to many subject areas, including the arts and humanities, physical sciences, social sciences, technology, communication, and health and fitness. The seminars provide intellectual and creative renewal, opportunities for research, scholarly pursuits, and professional networking for the important career of teaching. All seminars are aligned with the North Carolina Standard Course of Study.

National Board Support Seminars–NCCAT’s program supports your efforts to earn this Certification by providing a five-day residency program at NCCAT for portfolio work.

Beginning Teachers–Is focused on building awareness and addressing the needs of teachers in the second or third year of their careers. Our comprehensive induction program for first year teachers: called "Connections" and our seminars for second and third year teachers call "Connect to Your Future" focus on best practices that will help Initially Licensed Teachers (ILT's) expand their knowledge base and strengthen their classroom expertise; ultimately impacting student achievement and resulting in improved retention rates.

Teacher Scholar-in-ResidenceTeacher Scholars offers a week of un-interrupted time for a teacher, or group of up to five teachers, to work on an independent scholarly project related to their teaching.

For school groups and other educational organizations–The NCCAT Campus provides a pleasant and comfortable environment for meetings and conferences.

Professional development partnerships with NCCAT–We actively seek to form partnerships with educational organizations. OUr intent is to maximize the effectiveness of professional development for public school teachers.
