Our program, BEST PRACTICES FOR MOTIVATING YOUNG READERS in Ocracoke, provided teachers from across the state an opportunity to expand their literacy tool kit with strategies for motivating young reluctant readers. In the program, teachers explored three powerful motivations that drive student reading: (1) interest, (2) dedication, and (3) confidence.

They have been using multiple apps in conjunction (app-smashing) to create a final product.
