Guilford County teacher receives Honored Educator Scholarship

We're happy to say NCCAT friend Vicki Simmons of Haynes-Inman Education Center with Guilford County Schools on receiving the A. Craig Phillips NCCAT Honored Eductor Scholarship. This scholarship was established in honor of Dr. A. Craig Phillips who served as State Superintendent of North Carolina for twenty years from 1968–1988. He instituted state-supported kindergarten for all North Carolina children along with several other important achievements in the state. Congratulations to to Vicki! She is attending the "Holocaust Education: Effective Strategies And Resources" program. To learn more about the NCCAT Honored Educator Scholarship please visit -
