NCCAT Tool Talk - Badgr

This blog post is written by NCCAT Senior Digital Learning Specialist Elizabeth Joyce. Joyce came to NCCAT after serving four years as instructional technology specialist in Rockingham County Schools. She also attended NCCAT as a teacher. She started teaching high school English January 2008 for Rockingham County Schools, and became instructional technology specialist in August 2011.

Badgr allows you to create and issue digital badges and micro-credentials. For school systems that use Canvas, a learning management system, Badgr can easily track student progress and award badges upon module completion. Badges can also be sent via email to recipients for completion of work.
