We are honored to have a group from Gaston County schools at the Cullowhee Campus for a Teacher Leadership Institute. 

Participants will be engaged in the study adn discussion of leadership principles, personal leadership traits, teacher leadership in schools, group dynamics and other aspects of leadership.

These wonderful educators have joined us for "Strategies For Motivating And Building Reading Skills In Any Subject" in Cullowhee. Participants in this program will review ideas about how to incorporate reading skill lessons into their curriculum so that they are enticing to struggling, reluctant, and disengaged learners.

We are happy to hear that 90 percent of people who attended "Reading Resources: Equipping Your Classroom For Reading Success" have already submitted two funding proposals after a week in the program led by Dr. Ernest Johnson of NCCAT.
