The North Carolina Department of Public Instruction is seeking applicants for a Math Specialist for the Academic Programming Unit.

The North Carolina Center for the Advancement of Teaching (NCCAT), founded in 1985 with a mission to advance teaching as an art and a profession, is dedicated to serving pre-K through 12th grade schoolteachers in order to enhance the learning of the children of North Carolina. The goal of NCCAT is to support teachers to positively impact the quality of public education in North Carolina.
The Academic Programming unit is responsible for providing high quality professional learning through residential, regional, school-based, and online programming for North Carolina school teachers.
This is a full-time faculty position with the primary responsibility of planning and conducting programming on math topics for PreK-12 teachers, with an emphasis in grades 5 – Math I.
This is a homebased position and requires up to 40% travel
