Cabarrus County, Cleveland County and Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools teams at NCCAT

Happy these fantastic educators have been with us for a Solution and Planning Teams program in Cullowhee. Below is a list of who they are and what they worked on with us.

Rocky River Elementary, Cabarrus County, Let's Get Charged Up! Phase 2 - This team created their long-term vision for their school-wide coding and robotics program. They will plan a budget, research hardware and software, curriculum alignment, robotics club implementation, summer camp planning, and staff development opportunities at a school or county level. They will also investigate opportunities to expand their program into the Wonder Robotics a Lego WeDo programs and look into other aspects of the gaming and coding developments.

Cleveland County Schools, Upacking Eureka Math - The goal of this project is to bring together a team of Curriculum Technology Coordinators to "unpack" the Eureka resources their district is providing. They will work collaboratively toward creating a support system for teachers that will ensure proper implementation of the Eureka Math resources. They will create digital resources for teachers to use daily in lesson delivery, develop common assessments that are aligned with the Eureka Math modules, and devise a plan for providing professional development opportunities for teachers.

Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools, Developing Blended Professional Learning Courses - This team will develop a catalog of courses within a blended learning environment to meet the professional needs for teachers and support staff. These courses will align to the district's Core Professional Competencies and serve as the professional learning curriculum for the Learn Level of Project ADVANCE.

Thank to these educators and their schools for working with us!
