CULLOWHEE - As we begin the 2019-2020 school year, the North Carolina Center for the Advancement of Teaching would like to extend an opportunity for networking and collaboration on August 16th for Region 8 districts. The program is 14966: Region 8 Math Collaborative in Cullowhee. District leaders, school leaders, and teachers are invited to explore conceptual modeling for the NC Math Standards and make plans to partner with NCCAT for professional learning in your district. Each district group should attend with at least one district leader and teacher, up to five individuals can attend from each district.
Elementary and secondary educators are invited, and lunch will be provided. The event will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. If you would like to attend this event, please fill out the application found here.
