Creating Podcasts

A podcast is a form of audio broadcasting using the Internet. Podcasting involves making one or more audio files that can be downloaded and played with a media player. Teachers learned about podcasts then watched as the presenter created one from start to finish. Teams prepared their scripts then used laptops and Audacity, an audio recording and editing program to create their podcasts. There are several uses in the classroom for podcast by teachers. They incorporated music, voice, and sound effects in their final products.
