Congratulations to NCCAT friends from Western Carolina University Sloan Despeaux, professor of mathematics, and Nathan Borchelt, associate professor of mathematics, who were recently presented the North Carolina Council of Teachers of Mathematics.Innovator Award for their work in establishing and sustaining the N.C. Network of Math Teachers’ Circles. NCCAT is proud to have hosted this group for summer sessions in Cullowhee.
