National Board initial candidates work with NCCAT

North Carolina continues to lead the nation with National Board-certified teachers and the North Carolina Center for the Advancement of Teaching (NCCAT) is happy to help teachers achieving this goal that impacts state students with a quality teacher in their classrooms.

NCCAT hosted a National Board Certification program February 4-6  in Cullowhee. Initial candidates joined others for a weekend of facilitated support and collaboration as they worked on components two-four of your National Board certification submission. Participants were expected to have a draft of at least one component prior to attendance. Best practices for completing components were shared. Thank you to these teachers for putting in this work! Watch our website and social media channels for information on when this program will be available again with NCCAT in the future.
