Teachers from across North Carolina have an opportunity to take part in “Teaching the Holocaust: Resources and Reflections” program at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C., in October and November with the North Carolina Center for the Advancement of Teaching (NCCAT).
The aim of this program is to gain an understanding of the precursors, events, and consequences of the Holocaust and to grapple with the problem of how best to convey this history and the meaning that it can have in the lives and civic practices of our students.
The two sessions feature the same itinerary:
- October 12–17, 2025
- November 16–21, 2025
Please indicate your preferred session when applying. Application deadline: August 15, 2025.
