NCCAT Hosts Inaugural Beginning Teacher Coordinator Institute in Guilford County
The North Carolina Center for the Advancement of Teaching (NCCAT) held its first annual Beginning Teacher Coordinator Institute on March 28 at Guilford Technical Community College. The event brought together representatives from more than 70 school districts across North Carolina for a day of learning and collaboration focused on beginning teachers.

As we have entered the installation phase of the new North Carolina Science Standards, the 8 Science and Engineering Practices lifted by the National Research Council have been identified as the anchor for this shift.
