EdCampWNC Returns to NCCAT in October

CULLOWHEE—Educators can learn and share during a day of professional development at EdCampWNC Saturday, Oct. 13 at the North Carolina Center for the Advancement of Teaching.

EdCamps, which began in 2010, are not like a traditional conference with a set schedule determined months ahead of the event. This professional development model has an agenda that is created at the start of the event by the participants to fit their needs. Participants are encouraged to attend sessions that are best for them.

CULLOWHEE—EdCampWNC returned to the North Carolina Center for the Advancement of Teaching, a national leader in professional development, for a sixth time Saturday, August 26.

EdCampWNC Back for a Fifth Time at NCCAT

CULLOWHEE—EdCampWNC returns to the North Carolina Center for the Advancement of Teaching, a national leader in professional development, for a fifth time Saturday, Oct. 15.

In April EdCampWNC drew more participants than any previous events with 100. Responding to a request from North Carolina educators we were pleased to host EdCamp WNC on Nov. 15 in Cullowhee. It’s exciting for me as a life-long educator when I think about the 54 teachers and administrators who took part of their weekend after long hours during the week, to explore how to use digital learning to improve education for the children of our state.
