Honored Educator Scholarship

Congratulations to Kinsi King of South Iredell High School in Iredell-Statesville Schools on receiving the NCCAT Richard L. Thompson Honored Educator Scholarship.The scholarship provides travel and money to use in the classroom. NCCAT helps North Carolina teachers grow in knowledge, skills, compassion, and professionalism so that students become engaged, self-motivated, and successful.

Congratulations to teacher Freda Walker of Guilford County Schools on receiving the NCCAT Guilford County Schools Honored Educator Scholarship.

Congratulations to teacher Margaret Maurice a teacher at Hidden Valley Elementary School  in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools system. She is the recipient of an NCCAT A. Craig Phillips Honored Educator Scholarship.

The Honorable Willis P. Whichard continues his long-time support of teachers with the establishment of another fully funded North Carolina Center for the Advancement of Teaching Honored Educator Scholarship.
