NCCAT was in Burlington recently.
A wonderful group of teachers took part in a program "Engaging Parents in Early Literacy" at Marvin B. Smith Elementary School. They are looking for strategies to motivate parents to spend more time reading with their children.
NCCAT is proud to be hosting the North Carolina Folklore Society along with Western Carolina University as it holds its 102nd annual conference on Friday and Saturday.

We just wanted to say Happy National Principals Month from NCCAT! This October is a great time to remember all Principals do throughout the year. We thank them and appreciate the opportunities we get to work with them.
